We use state-of-the-art equipment. For example, we use three-CCD, high-resolution, postage stamp-size sensors that offer many advantages. First, the sensors on the chip are tiny, dense and powerful; so the x-ray radiation and the exposure-time needed is about one-tenth that of conventional-style x-ray systems. Lowest radiation is best for all, especially for kids and pregnant women. The x-rays are recorded immediately so there are no irritating waits and retakes. Since the x-rays are digital, the photos are large and sharp – such pictures are truly worth a thousand words! This allows a patient to see what the doctor sees. Such x-rays also prevent misdiagnosis, and facilitates better communication between Dr. Doshi and Specialists. Furthermore, the digital x-rays can be copied in an instant and without loss of information; that is why we never send xerox copies of x-rays. Finally, with our CCD sensors there is no film to process. We have never used chemicals and solutions that can be harmful to staff, patients and the environment; that is why we do not have toxic-smelling vapors and odors in our office.

We recognize that better equipment does not necessarily make a better dentist. So, we also employ best-practices in what we do and how we do before, during and after a patient visit. An example of best practice is infection control. Even with our top-of-the-line Sterilization equipment, we use strict handling, clean-up, transfer and disposal procedures. While this takes extra-time and effort, patients deserve professionalism and higher standards. Another example is post-treatment care. We understand that many patients could still have questions and concerns after certain procedures. We consider it a privilege that patients trust us, and so Dr. Doshi and staff not only respond to emails and calls promptly but pro-actively call patients to follow-up after their dental procedures.

Lastly, beyond equipment and procedures, we use high-quality materials from well-established suppliers to make sure that the work-product is excellent, and the materials perform as expected.
